Today is Sept. 11,2008 and I sit here awaiting the arrival of hurricane "Ike". News reports have Ike rated as a Cat. 2 for now and growing .I've prepared with food and water but need to board up windows today as landfall is expected Friday nite to early Saturday morning at a Cat.3-4 strength. I'm feeling a little uneasy with remembering the events in New York and at the Pentagon seven years ago today...while awaiting "Ike" to deliver it's devastation to my beloved Texas coast....The Hurricane is ...HUGE ....even by Texas standards...!
I'll post more on my situation and storm riding experiances later...hopefully with video or pictures to share.
